The Glendale Coin Club celebrates its 50th Anniversary
with an Elongated Coin set

The Glendale Coin Club (California) celebrated its 50th Anniversary (1959-2009) during its monthly meeting, held on March 13th, 2009. The club marked this special event with a custom-designed Elongated Coin set.

The coin was designed by the Club's President, Oded Paz. It was engraved and rolled by Brad Ream of Rockville, IN.

Only 100 cents were rolled on 1959 Copper Cents + 100 cents on regular copper cents.

A special edition of only 20 sets were made on all available U.S. coins. The set includes the 1959 and copper Cents, Nickel, Dime, Quarter, Half Dollar and Presidential Dollar. All coins have stained backs, showing the reverse side of the coin (except for the 1959 Cent, which shows the obverse, with the year).

You can purchase the two-Cent set for $2.50 (postpaid) and the special coin set for $20 (postpaid), while they last.

For more information and placing your order, please contact Oded Paz at paz@sbcglobal.net or P.O.Box 0534, Castaic, CA 91310-0534.

The Glendale Coin Club (GCC) is fondly called "the Friendly Coin Club", due to the good atmosphere and extremely friendly members of the club.

The club meets the second Friday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the basement of Citi Bank located at 2350 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose (Glendale), California. The club's website is www.glencoin.com
